Description: Cloves can boast of sweetly pungent, astringent and strong aromatic flavour which is essentially young unopened flower buds. Cloves would resemble small nails, with a tapered stem. The large end of the clove is the four-pointed flower bud. They are pink when fresh and when dried Cloves turn to a rust-brown colour. Cloves can be bought as a whole bud and as powder. However if grinded its flavour would have a shorter life span. Similar to other spices we sell, Cloves could be used as an ingredient in medicine.
